George Jamieson was the first husband of my great grandmother Robina Cowan. He was born in Glencaple, Dumfries.

George's parents were William Jamieson and Mary Jamieson both from Glencaple/Dumfries area. I have traced Mary's family and Robina's.

Robina and George had two children
William Paterson Jamieson b. 27.12.1871 Glasgow
Margaret Cowan Jamieson b. 12.12.1875 Glencaple - died 29.11.1915 in Winnepeg and apparently interred at Elmwood Cemetery
George died 13.10.1877 at Glencaple

I wondered what happened to William. and any further information about George's father or how Margaret lived in Canada.
