Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	The Name Stammers, as far as I know came over from the Norman Invasion, and is mentioned in the Doomsday book. deritives of the name are STANMORE, STANMERES and others.Apparently there is a lord Stammers in Norfolk. The name is popular in Essex,Norfolk and so I have discovered in Scandinavia. (SWEDEN) When ever you visit a Foriegn country it is worth looking in the local Telephone directory. May the Stammers Clan Live on.
