I am trying to find out what happened to my grandmother after 1915. She was born 30.7.1887 in Battersea, father Edwin Henry Williams, mother Mary Ann Emma Williams nee Sawer. Her birth certificate shows the name Alice Mary. She had 7 or 8 older siblings and 3 younger siblings.
She married Harry Arthur Thompson on 23.10.1910 in Battersea.
Their first child Harry George (my father) was born on 5.3.1911 in Wood Green, Doris May was born on 13.9.1913 in Peterborough, and Reginald William was born on 4.3.1915 in Dartford. This is the last record I have for Alice. Her husband married again on 6.10.1919 in Stranraer giving his name as Henry Arthur Thomson and stating that he was a bachelor. I would be very grateful if anyone can shed any light on what happened to Alice after 1915. There does not appear to be a death certificate.
