Hi,
Please could you see if you can find anything out about my Great Grans parents. They were George Wood born c1862 and Jane Webb born c1864
living in South East London. I do have their marriage details, but not much more.

marriage oct-nov-dec St Savior 1885 volume 1d page350
marriage cert.
Parish church St John Walworth county of Surrey
Age 23
The area of London my Gran lived in all her life was Bermondsey. Her name was Jane Elizabeth Wood and she was born in 1899
Birth registered
Wood Jane Elizabeth St. Saviour 1d 26
she had older siblings.Ann, Eliza, William ,George,
I would love to know where George and Jane the parents were born for sure as there is a Myth in my family that my Grans family came from Northern Ireland,i believe the census will give that info
Any help you can give would be very much appreciated.
All the siblings were born in either the St Olave or St Saviour district which comes under Surrey as does Walworth where George and Jane married
Thank you
Cathie

Thats great. Thanks you very much.
Can I be a bother and ask if you are able to look in 1851 to see if there were anymore children?
I am thinking that Coward might be Edward? Misspelt on transcript? Coward seems an unusual name.

Thanks Allison in NZ

Hi Lesley,

Thanks for the offer.

I need a census lookup for 1841.
For Ruth Robson born 1831 Ruby Parish Durham.

I think her parents may have been George and Mary.
She later married a Thomas Lister ( in 1860)and was widowed by 1881 census.

Her son William Lister 1862 is my link. I do have 1881 and 1901 census info on this family.

Many thanks Allison
