Hello there, my husband is Kenneth John Simpson and we are trying to find out where his Grandfather was born and when, all we know is he is John Simpson born in Scotland. He came across to Queensland Australia at some time in 1900's early on, he married Elizabeth Ellen Worthington in Australia in 1916 and one of his children was my Ken's father, a Robert McBain Simpson who married Myrtle Ivy Richards, if you can help can you let me know, many thanks, Michelle Simpson |

From 1900 to 1916 there were 19 "John Simpson's" who travelled to Australia. |

Not sure if this will reach you as I see your message is 2008. Would love to hear from you in connection with your query. I believe there is a very distant relationship. I can take you back to his Scottish roots. |

Betty, you've noticed that Michelle posted some time ago. She hasn't been back to the boards since. |
