Me too Syl.

Every flippin one but her.

But thank you for trying.

Never mind,I have had a good run tonight with all the birth dates being on every baptism I have looked at and every marriage I have searched for has come up on Ancestry ,even a 1813 one and I dont normally have that much luck.

So now my luck has just run out as another name I was following was going well and then hit the buffers on 1861 and earlier, and it wasnt even a Smith or Jones!

So Im calling it a night as I have to sort out all my print offs.

Must learn to put them in order as they come off
Must learn to put them in order as they come off...

Fans

some trees on ancestry have Philip James Goddard, Emma Charlotte Chapman, father John Goddard, mother possibly Sarah

Look under Phillip Gabbard in 1861 ...... or Henry Chapman, ca 1842

I'd better go before Gins has my head!

night night everyone

Try using control/plus

Works the other way too

Dea

Dea Report 17 Jul 2010 07:40

Hi Ginny,

If it is just the text that is too big or too small - click on 'view', top left of your screen - scroll down to 'text size' and click on this to alter it.

If it is the whole page then hold down 'control' button and scroll the little mouse wheel until you get it to fit.

Well FBG,

I see Sylvia has already found your Emma on 1851 - Well done Sylvia !!

So, I have spent the past couple of hours looking for her on 1841. - No luck I am afraid.

I have found her siblings, John, Rebecca, Edwin and William, and some of their marriages, and some of them on 1851. I had thought she might have been with one of them on 1841 but I couldn't find them there either (except William who is with parents, and a possible for John?)

Rebecca by that time was Rebecca Williamson and interestingly on her marriage in 1841 her father John was then a Clerk which matches the one you have found in 1841 for John + Rebecca Snr.

As has been said already, it doesn't look as if that John + Rebecca were actually a 'couple' at that time, even though they shared the house - perhaps Rebecca Snr. was just there visiting because of her daughter's wedding?

Edwin the son was also married from that address - 10 Butler Street, in 1838.

Anyway - must go and do 'things' just now, I will have another try later.

Dea x

P.S. - If you haven't already got all these details, tell me which you need and I will pm them to you.
