The response from my email to GR regarding the survery!

Dear Ginny

thank you for your email. I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with the specifications for the survey.

The location was a neutral one that was chosen by the company conducting the survey for us. We chose 16 particpants as that is the optimum number allowed for this type of survey. As we haven't done one before we decided to only run two this time round.

We are also going to be conducting an online survey though that you'll be able to take part in.

Best regards,

Estelle

O dear. I can see another translation is needed this morning!

From Ginny:

Please find my little 'IT' (Italian?) overtly obsessive person.

'I' (Irene?) is continuing to have problems sorting out her hairset every morning and keeps changing it for something else.

There is the possiblity I may have caught an ailment. I have had a scan aboard a ship, but it is coming back clear.

All suggestions most welcome.

'Im' (Imogen?) has restored her system and it works. Unfortunately, it only lasts until the next morning when the ailment returns.

'Grrr' - I have acquired a dog.

I am busy most of the day at work, but will return when convenient.

Nice one Cyn.

Just got out of the bath so I have no underthings on which saves me having to change them due to laughing at someone elses expense..........

But as I was about to catch up with thread in my not fashionable old towel that I use as a turban when I have wet hair and in my very old and not fashionable towelling robe (circa 1960) there came a tapping to the rear of the house.

I shouts
"B###r orf Beady"to the Jackdaw that spends lots of time on my leantoo bathroom and kitchen roof eating insects from the moss that accumulates on it.

Tapping comes again so I go to shoo him away via the back door.

And there stands the (new)Meter man with clipboard in hand who says.

May I read the meter please?.

Cheeks on fire I show him where it is.

The old meter reading man always tapped on the front door as he knew the meter was just inside in the hall.

Do they not tell these youngsters anything nowadays .

Only 4 dogs in the house and not a one of them made a peep,in fact they didnt even raise their heads, anyone want a good house dog or four??

Ginny,

Do me a favour download this..... (everyone should really)

EDIT: Try this......http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/ (click the link top right)

It's an online virus & malware scanner and remover.

It'll find and remove nearly everything that shouldn't be there. It's a great little thing. I use it regularly.

If something is changing your system settings, you either have a corrupt file or a malware of some description.

Gee Report 21 Jul 2010 12:52

Ive just downloaded it to my work desk top and it worked ok

I just C/P the whole of the link into my address bar

Now my thoughts were that the bug is Malware, which if it is should get sorted

Im not too familier with 'corrupt' files though Trace?

Gee

Gee Report 21 Jul 2010 12:54

Ha ha ...

I have just had my puter cleaned up,defragged(heavyduty),new commodo antivirus installed etc etc...
All done from my puter persons office on my puter by teamviewer in an hour.

Cost=HID sorts something for them...

Me not puter literate,so safer that way.

Well a corrupt file usually happens if you have put some new progs on your pc and it hasn't copied onto a file properly.

If it's only happening with your browser, then i'd download a new copy of the browser your using and then remove the old one and install the new. (remembering to reboot between the 2, cleans up the last of the files on removal)

If it's IE thats gone screwy, try using Firefox and see if it happens with that.... or vice versa (if the other is your main browser)

It's easier doing the scans first then try and sort it all out afterwards.

Maybe they are a lawyer with all that Jargon?
Typed rather like a legal letter to me.
But the punctuation etc leaves a little to be desired, not that mine is up to much though.

But I do have the excuse I went to rubbish schools and left at an early age as well as lots of time off to work at home on the farm..

Not just me then?

My english is'nt up to much either, I just managed to leave school with a grade 5 C.S.E, that was enough. Maybe if I had'nt refused to do the oral exam it might have been better.

When I see my 13 yr old daughters posts on FB it makes me cringe, her spelling is atrocious and it's not text speak
