Does anyone know if it is possible to view Irish Electoral Registers? I am trying to find relatives who I visited as a child in 1945 or 1946. They lived in Desert or Ring near Clonakilty, Co. Cork. My grandfather was born in this neighbourhood in 1865 and emigrated to England in his teens but some family remained behind in Ireland. The surname of these relatives is possibly not the same as mine but If I could view an electoral register for this area it is possible that linked with other research I may discover who these relatives were.
