Thanks Stuart but I think the Charles Wells in York Castle is not mine as his trade was a coach maker/mender. |

I've had no luck either but if little Charles was born 1840, York and died 1842 there one would think he'd be on the 41 census there. |

I originally did my research on my Wells family back in 2004 when it needed a visit to the library or archives to search through film and fiche! From that time I gleaned various facts but failed to find the family in the 1841 census. |
