Could someone please lookup in Ancestry to see if there are any details about a family returning to UK from India.

The father Thomas Rammell died in India in 1876. The mother Honora Rammell and her children must have returned to the UK beforhand as a child was born in 1874 Woolwich. The family may have travelled back via Ireland as Honora remarried in 1880 in Dublin.

The children are:

Arthur Gibbon Rammell. He was born on 10 Mar 1865 in Trinmigherry Madras
India . Baptism on 23 Apr 1865 in Trinmigherry Madras India.

Mary Jane Rammell. She was born on 28 May 1869 in Bangalore. Baptism
on 03 Jun 1869 in Bangalore.

v. William Rammell. He was born on 14 Oct 1870 in Trinmigherry Madras India.
Baptism on 31 Oct 1870 in Trinmigherry Madras India [124]. He died on 05 Jul 1897 in Woolwich.

Probate for Thomas Rammell

Administration of the personal estate of Thomas Rammell late of Beypoore in the Presidency of Bombay in the East Indies a private in the Royal Artillery who died 19/09/1876 at Beypoore was granted at the Principle Registry to Honora Rammell of Charlottes Quay, Dublin in Ireland. Widow the relict. Personal Estate under £200

According to the 81 census Honora was born in Ireland. She probably returned to her family.

Although the 1881 does say Honora Waine I think that maybe it should read Warner

Honora Rammell did marry Francis T Warner in Dublin 1880.
