Could some one please give me the details of the this marriage:-

I have a Alice Maud Mary Stacey born 14 March 1892 Heckfield Hants. Fathers name Samual.

As I can find no trace of Alice after the 1911 census I was hoping this might be her.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There is also a girl named Alice Maud Mary Stacey who married Arthur Roland Seaward in 1915.
I'm not good with English counties but they married in Norbiton and lived in New Malden

Her father's name was Thomas and mother was Florence


The Canadian one looks right.
Your Alice had sister named Ella and Alice in Canada also had a daughter named Ella

It doesn't have anything other than the entry ,but this looks a possble

A tree on Ancestry gives her place of birth as Heckfield, Southampton and her mother's name as Florence Stacey.

As showing , Alice in Reading at 1911 was a biscuit packer

Alice travelled with another girl, also a biscuit packer named Florence Hookway.
This is Florence in the same area of Reading at 1911 and was travelling to Canada to be married.

That tree on Ancestry is all wrong. It states born 1894 Heckfield but the 1901/11 census saved is for a person born 1894 Surrey. I have added a comment on his tree pointing this out.

Yes, I suspect that it's too much of a coincidence not to be the same girl who married Robert Shepherd!

I see her sister Ella ( Salt) also lived in Canada.
They don't appear on any census returns because the Salt family emigrated in 1921 but they did travel back and forth to Reading a few tiimes
