Thank you safc. You'll maybe gather that I'm fairly new to this.

However, the dates for that Alfred Stevens do not fit. I'm looking for the father of a Nellie Edith Stevens who was born in 1893 and married in 1920. So the Alfred Stevens that you have details of is too old!

Of course he may be related somewhere along the line.

Thanks you for that. Every litttle helps. I'll look into it further but I really don't think so. My family were for ever in Leicester, although things do change.
