In the case of Robert Walker being illegitimate, what's the chance of finding a record of his birth ? From census returns it would seem he was born circa 1822 ?

Thanks all, I've now gone back another a couple of generations Fred, Harry and to a Robert born 1822. Parish records job next. Do they exist online for Bedfordshire does anyone know ? :-)

A tree on Ancestry has 3 children of Fred & Eva listed but the son is not named, listed as private so evidently still living.

This tree doesn't have parents of Fred but Eva's parents are William Geary & Mary Rose Cox.
