But oddly solicitors were advertising in paper for benefactors.

in 1901 he is with wife Annie and 3 daughters in Exeter,Devon, at Union Road.

but I cannot find any of them in 1911 (including John) on findmypast
can anybody else spot them please,
Trying to track more about him.

I'm also trying to work out if he belongs to my Strongs -also in Alphington - but that's another days work!
