I do recall Nicola's original post from last year.

http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/ancestors/thread/1359821

It took a while but the research followed the descendany of James Hervie
It became apparent that his wife Isabella Kibble could not be the mother to all of his children and James must have been married before.....

He was 1st married to Jean Winning in 1778 and had at least 9 children.
Jean died in 1795

Isabella Kibble was James Hervie's 2nd, younger wife.
They married in Paisley 1798..

Edit:
Based on all the informaton, James Hervie was born circa 1726 and his 2nd wife named Isabella Kibble was born circa 1767, daughter of Thomas Kibble and Sarah Martin

This James Hervie died in 1832
His wife, Isabella Kibble died in 1841

No Chris Ho
Have not heard anything from Nicola S, she is obviously not looking at Genes at the moment. We have been able to find quiet a lot of info on our line of the Kibble family, it is just this elusive Mary Ferrier that we are stumped on. However we will keep on trying. It may mean a trip from Aus. To Scotland.

Thank u Gins,
Yes u are right about her being to old, our Mary was actually still having children up until 1825-26. My great great grandfather George Augustus Frederick Kibble was born in 1822, and from what I have found out about mary and husband James Kibble, there was another child born after George. Her name was Sarah No 2, and she was born 1825-26. Our Mary seems to have arrived and disappeared without a trace.

There is this record but she would have been an older bride given the birth year?

Name: Mary Ferrior

Baptism Date: 10 Jul 1763

Baptism Place: Govan,Lanark,Scotland

Father: William Ferrior

Mother: Marrion Algie

FHL Film Number:
1066592, 0990755
---------------------------------------

I don't think this is her as there are births for Mary & James up to 1816 which would have made her too old to have children at the time

Desperate for any information on a Mary Ferrier who married a James Kibble 20 Sep. 1801 in Paisley, Glasgow.
Mary's Father was a William Ferrier a Merchant from Grenada.
I think Mary may have died between 1828 and 1835 , however I am not sure. I have not been able to find any birth date, death date, were she is buried, or any information on her mother.
I know her husband James died 19/8/1856 and is buried at St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery Glasgow.
I hope someone out there is chasing a similar line and can help me. I seem to be hitting my head up against a brick wall when it comes to this Mary Ferrier. :-(
