The two sisters, both on their 90s, tell me that William Joseph Pemberton born 1848 was their grandfather and give their thanks to one and all for their help.

Have you looked for his birth on freebmd, just to get you started?

Not showing as that full spelling and age on free bmd.

William is listed in the 1881 census aged 33 and a Carter living in Accrington no other family information is known a friend of mine is interested in finding her ancestors, any help will be greatly appreciated.
