She was born 6th September but you have 6 weeks in which to register the birth and so she was registered sometime between Oct and Dec which would put the birth reg in the 4th quarter. |

Malyon- I'm pretty certain all the facts Dea has posted, including the 1939 register are relevant to your Florence. I'm just posting the 1939 register that Dea found, but transcribing it from the original so your can see it clearer. |

thank you dea i'm not sure when Florence changed Vernon's name to lacey Patrick was away in the army cant remember them being togeather must have separated soon after marriage I have no one alive to ask |

Vernon was brought up by Florence's mother not sure if he was Reginald Vernon I think he married a woman called Vicky saw him when his mother was ill in 1958 had children with him little girls that's the last I saw of him |
