on the census 1911 say's born 1889 so this is the only one that it could be but he never had a middle name of Richard on this marriage in 1910

the census 1901 say's he was born Battersea he also has a sister called rosina barber aged 9

still not sure Herbert died in the war what I have just remember is that my aunt rose had a parrot my mum said Herbert fetched it back from sea and i'm shur mum said she knew Herbert she was born 1918 so that's what make's me think he did not die in 1917 is there any way I can find if he was a seaman

Herbert had either left or died by 1931 as Rosina was living at 70 Claverton St without him then (assuming it's the right Rosina)

yes that is the daughters marriage to lewis sadly she died young when having a baby its the middle name for Herbert when he married in 1910 just said Herbert no middle name if someone can find rose in 1939 reg to see if she is a widow

please could someone look for rose barber dob 1882 trying to find if she was with her husband Herbert barber he died he may have been a bit younger in age then rose I think they live in Kensington thank you
