Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	MY GRANDFATHER WAS LEWIS BALL AND I CAN TRACE MY FAMILY ON HIS SIDE BACK TO SAMUEL BALL BORN ABT 1650,MARRIED ELIZABETH ABT 1670.THEY HAD 3 SONS; SAMUEL,LEVI & JOHN.SON SAMUEL MARRIED RACHEL INGRAM,THEY HAD 3 CHILDREN; SAMUEL,ROBERT & ANN.ROBERT(WHO WAS HIGH SHERIFF OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE AND LORD OF THE MANOR AT STONEHOUSE COURT(WHICH TODAY IS A LUXURY HOTEL!)) MARRIED MARY DICKINSON. ONE OF THEIR 7 CHILDREN WAS REAR-ADMIRAL SIR ALEXANDER JOHN BALL,FRIEND OF LORD NELSON.AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN FIND.
