Hi again - If parents are Thomas & Elizabeth (thanks to Lewella) - then this fits: Stephen William Randall d 1964 (reg. 36104) at Hurstville (Sydney) (parents Thomas & Elizabeth) ..... An Arthur James Randall d1938 (parents Thomas & Elizabeth Helen). (this could be 'Mr A Randall age 30' shown on shipping arrivals). ...there's a Marriage1913 Stephen William Randall to Jessie Isabel M Payne (she died1970 -parents Albert & Frances) There's JOY MURRIN's transcription service -on-line she will search Stephen Wm Randall's d cert (1964 36104) as Aus d certs give names and ages of all his off-spring. Her fee is from $7. .....Valerie |

RANDALL: ASFORDBY TO AUSTRALIA I am trying to trace the descendants of two of my Great- Uncle's: Stephen Randall (born 1889) and Horace Randall (born 1891). They are both descendant from Asfordby, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England although emigrated to AUSTRALIA around c1906/7 (spelling might be Randell too). Here, we know they got married and had children of their own - contacts were kept int touch with another great uncle Herbert (known to family as Sonny) and we do have photographs sent to the family but no actual information. I believe both men died in their 70s. If anybody has any information or photographs regarding these two relatives I would be very grateful if they could get in touch - especially any Australian descendants - as they have a whole family still here. |
