Well we can give it a go but I'm not sure how far we'll get.

I would suggest that first you look for the marriage of Patrick Rielly and Mary Murphy as this will gie us an area & the ages of her parents however if they married in Ireland we are stumped.

Samantha

Samantha Report 31 Jan 2008 20:18

On the marriage cert its states that the father was Patrick Rielly and the mother Mary Rielly maiden name Murphy.

Samantha Report 31 Jan 2008 20:16

we can do if you dont mind helping
The only info i have is from the marriage cert & what i have seen on the head stone (says she was born 1887-Died 1969) but these dates might not be spot on as i am slowly learning.
Sorry she being Helen Reilly/Rielly?

Helen could well be one of Thomas & Jane's grandchildren. They had a son John 1762

Samatha I don't think you stand a chance of getting any further with Thomas.

Do you want to have a go at the Rielly's?

Samantha

Samantha Report 31 Jan 2008 19:55

I looked at this death cert this morning but i dont think its anything to do with my lot.
Its a shame that Thomas does not have his parents listed on his death cert this is going to be a difficult family to trace i think.
Makes me wonder if the Reilly/Rielly's will be the same??????

Samatha try the search that I gave you (1 credit)

This should give you the list I've posted on page 5

Jane died in 1892, death cert required (5 credits)

Thomas died in 1898, death cert required (5 credits)

Samantha

Samantha Report 30 Jan 2008 22:57

Just thought of some thing Andrew was living with parents at the age of 32 but living with sister (maybe) at the age of 42 so parents must of died between those times.
Is that 11 credits for each death cert or am i just searching for one (Im getting confused now) lol

°o.OOº°‘¨Claire in Wales¨‘°ºOO.o° Report 30 Jan 2008 22:51

You will be able to see them on Scotlands People.

Search "donachie" & make sure you tick soundex

Years 1891 to 1901

District "Row"

You will need 11 credits to view both & you are looking for their parent's names

Samantha

Samantha Report 30 Jan 2008 22:47

Ah yes,
now will i be able to view these on Scotlands people or am i going to have to actually order them to see what they say.

Your welcome. Next priority is those death certs.

Samantha

Samantha Report 30 Jan 2008 22:42

I think its 5031123
Otherwise if you put in Patrick Reilly born 1860 give or take 5 yrs scotland he shows on the 1881 census top of the list.

Samantha

Samantha Report 30 Jan 2008 22:39

I would just like to say a big BIG thank you to Claire for all her help and time this evening.
