Verrinders from Bisley, Gloucestershire

My wife's maiden name is Verrinder. Her ancestors come from Bisley, Gloucestershire. We had already traced her great x 8 granddad to William Verrinder b1700, when we visited the Gloucester Records Office.
We found that William was son of William b1670, and he was son of Henry Verinder (possibly born about 1638) married to Susanah Longford in 1667, so we had my wife's great x 10 granddad. The Bisley parish records get a bit fuzzy at this time and we could not trace Henry Verinder (or Verender) back to 1635 - 39. The Henry Verinder born in 1640 died in 1641 - son of Henry Verender and Joan Parrat - so it could not have been him.
Can anyone help out ?
