Please could you help me find a marriage between John Mitchell born approx 1836 to Mary Boris (Bards or Baras ) born 1836 approx Boris is the name on death cert of daughter but on daughter marriage cert it looks different daughter married 1879 in Scotland and on census it says she was born Catrine Ayrshire. But I cant find anything for her parents birth deaths or marriage, and on daughter marriage cert both parents where deseased.

Daughter Elizabeth Mitchell born approx 1856. she married Peter Connelly I have them in 1901 living Hamilton. Daughter was 23 when she married. and that was in Catrine Sorn parish

Rule out this one in 1871 as she has parents of Walter and Elizabeth in 1861

I am not sure if that is her or not, her father was a muslin weaver. I have witness to Elizabeth marriage if thats any help James Moore and M.E. Hair.

Possible marriage in 1855 for John Mitchell to Mary A Banks

But no Elizabeth shown with this family - can find same family in 1871 and again no Elizabeth so will have to rule them out

The Eliza Mitchell mentioned in the 1871 census was the daughter of Walter Mitchell and Elizabeth Neil and who was born in Symington, Ayrshire on 24 Sep 1859. Her full name is Elizabeth Neil Mitchell and in 1871 she was staying with her eldest sister, Mary born 1849 who is a Milliner staying at Melness Shop, Sorn, Ayrshire
