Gladys Folley Nee' Rowe emigrated to New Zealand 1919 never returned any ideas on how to track down what happened to her?
Born 1892 Cornwall parents Richard and Ellen nee Bassett . any ideas greatly appreciated

However, there is no Gladys Folley death listed, nor could I see a 2nd marriage for her between 1919 and 1929 (which is the most recent year that marriages are available). It's possible therefore that she either left NZ or remarried after 1929. What was her husband's name?

I'm wondering if she might have re-married after Harold's death? She would have been in her 60's though!

Incidentally, there is also this death in the bmd site - possibly a son, considering his middle name was Rowe!:

oh and Harold was born in NZ:
1891/12259 Folley Harold Thomas Frances Richard Hatton

and he was a soldier in WW1 - presumably when he met Gladys?

It would be worthwhile getting Harold's death cert - the NZ certs have loads of info, including details of his marriage & children. Would at least tell you if Gladys pre-deceased him or not.

There is a Gladys Hesson FOLLEY who married Frank Norman MURRAY in 1956 in NZ, died 16 Jul 1965 at Invercargill - cremated in Dunedin. Her last address was 40 Centre Street Invercargill and she was aged 75Y making her birth about 1890.

Frank Norman MURRAY died 31 Mar 1966 at Invercargill cremated at Dunedin.
