Can anyone help me to trace 2 deaths in south africa......olwen margaret
hardy died after 1972 maiden name roberts.....husband died in 1972...
she was born in llanelli in 1907.
her father was william henry roberts.....born in llanelli 1880......died before
1939 according to marriage certificate of olwen......believed to be in
south africa.
grateful for any help.....have tried most sites including national archives
of south africa ,ancestry, familysearch.org

If your relatives kept their British Passports and are not South African citizens you could try searching consular records.

Thanks so much for looking. All these events are quite recent history as I am only trying to find BMD's for my cousins and descendants.

Can anyone else help? or point me in the right direction where I can do this myself? I also have membership to Ancestry but can't seem to get the info I am looking for.

Thanks so much for your help. I do have some approximate and some exact dates for some members of the family. I am only going back at most 3 generations as all my cousins (12 in total emigrated to South Africa from the UK in 1957). They have since married and had children since being in SA.
