There used to be a dance hall on the front at Bangor, Co Down, called Capronis. I think it closed in the 1970/80s. |

My husband (who was lived in Bangor) says that the Capronis in Bangor also sold ice cream. There is this family in the 1901 census in Stranraer, Scotland: |

Trying to trace family roots father and mother from Belfast three grandparents from Belfast and one from Donegal is name Barney Gallagher left Donegal with his brother and went to live with 2 aunts in Glasgow about 1913/14 and ended fighting in WW1 which he survived ended up in Belfast where he met my grandmother and ended up living in Servia Street in the Falls Road |
