Hi All

Can anybody helps please.

I have Esau James Webb born Orsett/Grays Essex in 1862, I have him on all census except 1881. The only census i can find is 1881 Canada. Is it possible for somebody to have a look at the passenger list please. He married in 1887 back in Essex.

Any help appreciated

Also you can search Canada 1881 census on familysearch but obviously you will not get full details

The original of that passenger list looks more like Esau than Evan to me.

GB - A better (than FS) site to search 1881 is the LAC link at:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/genealogy/022-911.009-e.html

It might be more of a pain to get their transcription from here, but you get the image:
http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/e/e326/e008143684.pdf
so you can do your own transcription.

Similarly, for the LAC 1871/1891 links - there are other options for later years, and 1852.
