	Do you have any more info? How have you got back to him? Do you know if and who he married and the names of any children? Also, where have you looked for him?

Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 14 Send Message	yep he married jean jane melrose and was born in falkirk landward. he married in 1842 and married a campbell before this marriage. i believe there may be some link between his family and mine. he died in falkirk poor house on 02nd april 1868. p.s. sorry it's taken so long to reply. mark.

Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 14 Send Message	this robert is robert melrose gillespie. agnes born 25 november 1847 falkirk is his daughter. it is this person who may be related to my robert gillespie. my robert gillespie married elizabeth gillespie(nee patterson). can't find the link between the two. my robert was born in 1821 in alloa. m.
