Can you ring Ireland General Record Office to find a reocrd for you or you need to go in person?

Do you mean their national archives? If that is the case this may help.

If you are seeking their register office this link may help

No different to our GRO, the Irish GRO will not do research for you.

You can however search the indexes in person at the GRO Research facility, 3rd Floor, Block 7, Irish Life Centre, Lower Abbey Street, Dublin 1

The IGI also has some Irish BMD index records you can search on-line

Thanks

Im looking for a record before 1922. I read that
all Ireland records are in Dulin before 1922. Is this right.
