My GG Grandfather died in 1907 and it says Administation to his son does that mean he had left all his money to his son as his wife was still alive or if I got his will would it tell me more |

It doesn't mean he left everything to his son - just that his son was granted letters of administration, so that he could deal with administering the Will. You would have to buy the Will (if there was one) to see who he left his money to. |

It just means that he was responsible for Administration of the deceased Estates |

I disagree Reggie - even if someone hasn't left a Will a relative (or other person) can apply for Letters of Administration so that they can administer the estate. The Letters of Administration gives them proof to show banks, building societies etc. that they are entitled to sort out the estate. |
