If you select Compatibility View for a website then it will use Compatibility View whenever you access that site until you cancel it (by reselecting the torn paper icon). |

It's because it copies the data as a table rather than just text. When you past it into a word file you should get a nice tabular result but when pasting into a text file each cell of the table is on a new line whether there is data in it or not. |
