My wife is Bulgarian so we could maybe help. Yasen Boychev would be a man’s name. A woman may have the name Boyanovska as patronym or surname. Those 2 names give no indication whether they are related or not. The wikipedia article explains the changing fashions in giving surnames and it is important to be clear that an unmarried person’s surname may not be identical with their father’s surname. |
