When you get the certificate - go to FreeBMD enter your grandfathers surname and his wife surname at time of marriage - enter the year they were married and hit search for births. You may be lucky and find something. I would personally go back a couple of years prior to marriage or enter the year 1st wife died. The reason I say this is my g/grandfather remarried less than a year after his 1st wife died and child born by 2nd wife before they were married. |
