Is DNA testing half-2nd cousins possible?

Basically my great grandfather was illegitimate, and we have found a probable father and some of his legitimate descendents. Really the only way we can be sure of our relation would be to test our DNA, but would testing half-2nd cousins be just to distant to test? |

I would suggest asking your GP for advice. They should be able to point you in the right direction. I suspect this might be pretty costly though. |

Any DNA testing is 'possible'...........whether or not there would be any value in it is another matter |

According to Google there are several sites which charge £99 for a DNA Paternity Test. This one looks a bit more promising for you, but I couldn't see anything about cost. |
