My mother was born in 1929, it's her parents I am trying to trace on the 1911 census, Lily Armstrong and Ernest Wilson. |

Without wanting to sound obtuse, how can we find someone in 1911 who wasn't born until 1929? |

I have my mother's birth certificate, it was registered by her mother, Lily Wilson, nee Armstrong, her father was Ernest Wilson. They lived at 13 Folkestone Road, Dover in 1929. On my mother's marriage certificate her father was registered as Ernest Wilson. Although she never had contact with him, his name was used as she had not been legally adopted by the couple that raised her. |

Do you think they actually married? I am wondering if you have your mother's marriage or birth cert. |

Thank you for looking for me. I wonder if I will ever find my mother's parents. I have nothing to go on, not even a marriage certificate for them. My mother left Dover 1929/1930 and was raised by a couple who lived in Chatham, Kent, they then moved to Rochester. |

Unfortunately I have no information. All I have is her name on my mother's birth certificate living at 13 Folkestone Road, Dover with her husband, Ernest Wilson. I cannot find a marriage certificate for them though. |

What would her age be in 1911? There are 3 of this name living in Kent in 1911. |
