Thanks everyone for the replies Frederick was born in 1860 in Heath nr Clay Cross , Chesterfield. He was separated from his wife, In 1901 he was living in Danesmoor and had 3 children living with him: Gertrude Alice, George and William, if this helps. |

Thanks for the replies. I am realyy confused why i cant find my 2xgreat grandfather on the 1911 census knowing he didnt die until 1939 so "should" be on the census!! |

Legally, yes. But people avoided it (Suffragettes for example). Some would have been missed. Some gave false info. If you can't find someone, then the entry may have been mistranscribed. |
