In the 1881 she's not down as widowed?

The transcription is exactly as above. As you probably know, the only place you can see the original image is on ScotlandsPeople.
However, according to that Ancestry tree Joseph sadly died 1868. They have put just the one daughter, Janet Jardine Bryden.
