	On the 1911 census, 2 sisters shown as aged 0. I knew it was an error because one of them got married in 1921. The original shows 1 aged 81/2 & the other 6 1/2. Both transcribed with yob 1911. Was it too difficult to work out the halves without a calculator?

	The person who transcribed the records obviously assumed that their ages had been recorded as months rather than years. More a case of lack of knowledge of the principles of biology rather than weak mathematical abilities.
	Researching: Don't put off until tomorrow doing what you can do today. If you like doing it today you can do it again tomorrow. Be kind to your children for it is they who will decide which care home you end up in.

	You´re probably right Jonesey. Hadn´t thought of that, but then, I knew how old they should be.

	Remember that the people transcribing probably don't know what a numerical half is............they probably are familiar only with decimals I hope you've posted the necessary correction(s)
