Thank you all for your advice on searching for a divorce.. It would have been between 1939 and 1950. It`s because I found them together in 1939, and she remarried in 1950, but her first husband did not die until 1960. So I`m guessing that they may have divorced, or maybe not, maybe a bigamist in the family. Wow! |

I think the National Archives website has some divorces but I think they are ones from quite some time ago (I'm afraid I find it impossible to find my way round the National Archives website so haven't used it myself). |

Have you looked on the National Archives site? free to search but pay if you find anything, although i dont know the timescale you are searching |

Does anyone have a subscription with findmypast, or anyware else, which enables them to search for a divorce. Help appreciated. Many thanks, Pat. |
