I note that BMD records currently available on the internet stop at 2005, is there a restriction on the passage of time before information is made public? if so any suggestions on how I can find events after 2005?

Also how and where do I search for Scotish records.

Thanks

Jonesey

Scottish BMD information is available at www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk (A pay to view site.

More recent (Post 2005) England and Wales BMD details are available to view at certain main libraries throughout the country. One of which I know is Birmingham and there are about 8 others. Contact www.gro.gov.uk to obtain the full list.
