As you know the date and area of death try the local newspapers, these type of stories were their bread & butter. |

Thanks Ivy I will try local newspaper back issues at library I guess, I do have copy of death certificate Andysmum which gives cause of death as fractured skull but I would like to know under what circumstances and where incident happened, |

Have you got the death certificate? That will certainly give you more information about the actual cause of death. |

Newspapers are the best source of information for this - inquest records and court proceedings are less likely to be accessible or even retained. |
