Dear Genes Re-united members,

I am just in the final stages of collecting all the Birth, Baptism, Marriage and Death data for all 'SEAMAN' individuals in England from 1500 - 2005 (I do have some more recent as well) The database has in excess of 50,000 names in it. I am willing to share and track any 'SEAMAN' details that you may need in order to add to my own bank of knowledge if I do not yet have that 'SEAMAN' in my lists.

My intention is to map as many 'SEAMAN' family trees as possible.

If you have any relatives from or in the UK that are 'SEAMAN' I would love to hear from you.

Hello Phillip and welcome to the boards.

Unfortunately, the best way for you to discover members with the surname Seaman on GR is to search and contact them yourself. It is very unlikely that many of them will see your thread.

Click on Search above and then on Search all Trees. Put the name Seaman in and you will see that there are 15 pages of them, ranging from the 1700's to 2005.

You have quite a task ahead of you.. Cx

Phillip,
One or two English born " Seamans" also pop up Lanarkshire from about 1810 onwards but the name appears to fluctuate between Seaman(s) and Symons.
