Basic question but I'm struggling to find a birth record for a relative John Yeomans born 1834 (+/- 1 year) in Westminister London. Is this too early for official birth records and am I into parish records now?
I manage to find a census record for him in 1861 where he is married but when his wife and family next appear in the 1891 census he's not listed on the record and his Wife Elizabeth lists her self as head and occupation Confectioner no mention of widow.
In 1861 his occupation is listed as Cow Keeper.
He got Married to Elizabeth Dedman in 1859.
Just can't find anything before 1859 for him.....
