Does anyone know if records were kept of where children were evacuated during WW2? If so where can I access them? |

I don't know whether these records exist but I would think the best place to ask is the County Records Office for the area you think the person in question was evacuated to or from |

I've often wondered if some children became 'lost'. |

If children were in school, sometimes many pupils were sent to one area. |

Thank you for all your replies. I would like to find out more of where my father was evacuated. I know it was Loughborough with a family called Armstrong but would like to find out more so I will try the local Loughborough records office and see where that takes me. :-) |
