That will give you factual info........speculation is unwise, to say the least

check Roberts death in 1986 it will state his age,,,,,,,Betsey Lousia died in 1995 both in Watford...

From Roberts age at death its possible then to work out a birth area from a search list.

Im looking for the date of birth and/or the parents of Robert J Curran.
He married Betsy J Colcough in 1949 in Watford...

See which locations they are in and do some cross-referencing.............and eliminating.

I've looked..........

There is one in Stoke in the same qtr as one in Watford, so that's a start

BUT......as always, her birth cert is the way to be really sure

Does anyone know how i could confirm the correct marriage of Betsy's parents from the 2 listed above other than purchase the records?
I've searched Ancestry for a baptism certificate but no luck..

Children removed.

Posting the names etc of her children is unnecessary..........and an invasion of their privacy, particularly in view of the circumstances
