Quick look on FamilySearch. Him or a child? His marriage is the only entry I could find on FreeBMD. Wonder if his was a late baptism.

Andy, I guess the people The Man with The Big Nose was living with, didnt much care for him!

A Tramp and his occupation is 'supposed out of work'

I nearly fell off my chair laughing at that one.......

Andrew Report 29 Nov 2012 11:45

The man with big nose is at a temporay settlement when they were digging a tunnel on the Settle-Carlisle railway. I guess they were a pretty rough and tough group of Navvies.

That's quite a mouthful isn't it! Poor bloke.
How's the family tree research coming on? No visits now to central library archives till Sept - unless you fit it in before 20th!!
Is it too early to say Happy Christmas?

St George’s Gravesend has a baptism

10 Apr 1881
Minehaha child of Edwin and Sarah Smith.

Minniehaha Smith
Date of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar 1881
Registration district: Gravesend
Inferred County: Kent
Volume: 2a Page: 485

With the towns’ connection to Pocahontas and with the surname Smith, may be they wanted to make sure she stood out from the crowd?
