As far as I am aware, the catering staff at the Naval College were civilians, usually retired naval personnel. Certainly this was the case in 1962, when we were there, and my OH thinks this would have been the case pre-war. |

Not yet no, I only found out a day or two ago, although looking at their website I fear they will not answer direct queries, and any info will be at Natonal Arhives. |

I found out recently that one of my great uncles became Head Chef at the Royal Naval College in Greenwich after a long career on ships. |
