She said he definetley died before 1995. She has just phoned a family member and now confirmed that Stephen (or Steven) was his middle name.

She basically wanted to do her family tree. We started on her mothers side but got stuck on her grandparents straight away. We looked on Hannah's birth certificate and the mothers maiden name is Roberts but Jones and Roberts are quite common.
She believed he died when around 1988/1989 shes not 100% sure as she was quite young.

Your friend needs to buy Hannah's birth cert......for facts about the names of her parents

The names are far too common for researching without as much info as possible

This is my friends tree i am trying to help her do - she believed her grandfather was born in 1905 but this must be a mistake. I don't have any specfic questions hense why i ask for any information.

Hannah's mother's maiden name was Roberts and possibly had a sister called Grace b1913?

Im looking for any information on George Samuel Wood b 1905 and Hannah Grace Jones b 1915 in Wales.
They married in 1948 in Amersham in Buckinghamshire and had a daughter Ann.
