Just had a look at the Medal List - the correct name, correct rank (Private) and regiment (Coldstream Guards) for one of them, at least. |

I have several ancestors who fought at Waterloo. As I understand it, if they were involved in the battle, they were awarded the Waterloo medal. |

I have a couple of soldiers in the family who, on their discharge papers, are described as a "Waterloo Man" - and have served x number of years as such. |
