From the examples I have seen it looks like the initials are those of the candidates. The - represents a split vote where the voter votes for two candidates and the + is for a plumper who uses both his votes for one candidate. Dead means the person was on the roll but was dead at the time of the election. Not sure about the number without knowing what place it was, maybe the voter's age? |
